About this site
Why another sports site on the web? Many national sports sites include detailed information on specific sports teams, including baseball teams based in Ohio. Most of the sports teams host their own web sites, and many other sites contain regional team coverage. Throughout time, authors and enthusiasts dedicated entire books to major league ball parks and their travels to cities hosting big league clubs, including Spring training facilities. While I personally lack the resources to visit ball parks across the country, I thought a pilgrimage to all professional ball parks inside the State of Ohio a feasible and entertaining endeavor. With all the sports and baseball related information on-line, I noticed a lack of comprehensive Ohio specific sports information that spanned all four corners and the central portion of the entire state. My hope is to make this site the most detailed and all-inclusive resource for baseball in the Buckeye State.

I apologize for the present lack of detail and information contained on this site. Please understand that this site is still in it's infancy and planning stages. Check back often for updates. The current goals for site updates are as follows:

1. Add more content
2. Add more amateur league information
3. Add new and original site content
4. Complete site presentation overhaul
5. Beg for donations, money, and advertising
6. Purchase a domain name
7. Host the site using my own equipment
About me
My name is Matt and I am the author of this site. I grew up less than 75 miles from Cleveland and presently live less than 35 miles outside of Cincinnati. "Ohio Baseball Web Resources" is a fan site dedicated to promote all levels of baseball across the State of Ohio. Ohio is rich in baseball history, and the sport continues to enjoy a high level of popularity in the Buckeye State to this day. I officially stopped playing the game of baseball, after little league, but my peers regarded me as one of the best players in the neighborhood where I grew up. I participated in countless pick-up games throughout my childhood. My decision to stop playing organized baseball is one of my life regrets.
