Go on I-90 East. Exit on Exit 174
(this is before the City of Moses Lake). You will see signs
pointing to the ORV area. Be patient. You'll pass through a
housing development, fishing areas, and then things look more and more
desert-like. You'll know you've reached the dunes when there's
little plant life, there are power poles, and a watering hole. |

if you want the
freedom of making your own pathways, this is your ORV spot! Best
time to ride is early in the morning or in the evening (in the summer).
You can camp at some nearby tent/rv spots for about $25. Some
people actually camp in the ORV area itself and it seems there are no
fees. If you get too hot, go past the watering hole, up the hill
and to your left will be a beach! |
