Stash Bash 2003 in Redbank, NJ!
Janine and I had a chance to meet some of the View Askew crew there, as well as getting to see a sneak peek of the upcoming "Jersey Girl" (in 2003 it was still upcoming).  It was a lot of fun!  These are some of the pictures we took when we went.

Clerks - Filmed for $27,000 in black and white in Leonardo, NJ, Kevin's first film.  Or buy Clerks - The Animated Series (which features the continuing adventures of Dante and Randall)
Mallrats - Filmed for much more, this one has Brenda from 90210 and introduces a young Ben Affleck to the View Askew crew.
NEW JERSEY!  NEW JERSEY! NEW JERSEY!
Read reviews and get a quick synopsis for each of Kevin's movies at AMAZON.COM by clicking the images below.
Chasing Amy - My personal favorite.  Janine says that she really identifies with Joey Lauren Adams' character Alyssa Jones.  I wonder what she means by that?
Dogma - This is a good one for Recovering Christians everywhere.
Buy the Dogma Special Edition.
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - From Jersey to Hollywood, wherever those crazy cats end up, the hijinks abound!

An Evening with Kevin Smith - This is a very funny Q & A with Kevin when he was on tour visiting various college campuses around the country.
My signed copy of Mallrats on DVD
Kevin Smith is a movie writer/director from Monmouth County (close enough!) who has given the world the gift of a series of films known as the "New Jersey Trilogy" of which there are seven.
Jersey Girl - It made me laugh, it made me cry...
Clerks 2 - Hilarious.  My favorite scene was the part where they argued about which  Holy Trilogy was better, Lord of the Rings or Star Wars:

Randall: "There's only one Return, and it's Of The Jedi"
