We are committed to providing transformation to the Girls and Boys Town of Trabuco Canyon and the Quintero Family through donated funds, goods, services, and volunteering, as well as raising awareness about these outstanding non-profit organizations and their causes. The OC66 Team ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ LATEST NEWS Saturday, October 27, 2007 Family and friends: You are AMAZING! Thank you for your generosity and your willingness to love and to give to others. Whether you have given a little or a lot, your contribution is playing an integral part in making a major difference in the lives of these children and their families. Our current fundraising total for the Girls and Boys Town is $4,167!!! That means that we still have $5,833 to go in order to meet our declared goal of $10,000 for this weekend! Please continue to support us in any way you can... If you haven't yet given, then give. If you have already given, then there's more to give, whether it's from you or from others around you (family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, local businesses... the list goes on)! Once again: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Friday, October 26, 2007 The Girls and Boys Town of Trabuco Canyon needs our help! We have received word that they continue to be on standby and are currently requesting support through monetary donations. OC66 has now committed to generating our $10,000 fundraising goal by the end of this weekend, and we would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavor! ANY amount is greatly appreciated, and as they say, "Every little bit counts." Please refer to the How YOU Can Help page for ways to send in your donations; make sure that they are directed to or made payable to "Girls and Boys Town of Southern California" and that you contact us once you have donated so that we may add it to our fundraising total. Thursday, October 25, 2007 BREAKING NEWS: We have received word that the children and families of the Girls and Boys Town of Trabuco Canyon have been evacuated from their homes due to the Santiago fire in Orange County. No word yet about when they will be able to return to their homes, but we will keep you posted as new information arrives. It is a privilege to have this opportunity to help and serve these children in every way possible. If you are ready and willing to help, please contact us as soon as possible. Tuesday, October, 23, 2007 Corrections have been made to the How YOU Can Help page: 1) Monetary donations made to the Girls and Boys Town of Trabuco Canyon should be made out to "Girls and Boys Town of Southern California," and 2) the mail-in address for the Girls and Boys Town has been changed from the Nebraska address to the Southern California address. Updates have also been made to the Events page to include dates for upcoming volunteer opportunities (November 2 and 16). Sign up for these events ASAP!
