![]() EYE-MO (15s) Another simple commercial, showing an Eye-Mo bottle moving around the screen to relax the viewer. The entire sequence was animated in AfterEffects, using simple DVE's, some precisely tuned scaling to distort the bottle, and a ripple effect to bring in the endtag. |
![]() BENCH / ALCOGEL (5s) Co-edited by colleague Raffy Espiritu, this commercial was animated in AfterEffects from a series of scanned stills, with FilmDamage added for a grainy, distressed look. "Dirty Finger" won two awards at the 16th Philippine Advertising Congress. |
![]() BENCH / UNDERWEAR (15s) This entire sequence was animated in one pass in AfterEffects from a series of PICT stills, and totalled nearly 100 layers. The offset filter and motion blur filter saw generous use, with a slight jerk to cap off every motion. |
![]() OMNIPOST GEO-COUNTDOWN Animated in AfterEffects, the Geo-Countdown used a scrolling variation on the moonscape (see Original Art Gallery), a pair of rotating gyroscopic patterns with perspective, a 4-color X in Overlay Mode, and motion-blurred numbers in Rubino Sans ICG. |
![]() OMNIPOST GRID COUNTDOWN This countdown used a series of decaying numbers, moving and stationary grid patterns, animated Braille-style dots, a washed-out letterbox border, a scrolling 3D pattern in the background, and FilmDamage for that oh-so-film-noir grainy, distressed feel. |
![]() CAP NEWS TODAY LOGO Title sequence for a simulated news program in a C.A.P. audio-visual. A proper sense of balance and movement, with simple DVE's, layer modes, and color balance, formed the foundation of the logo, with some light bursts and lens flares for embellishment. |
![]() SPACE EXPLOSION An AfterEffects experiment, inspired by the opening scene of Star Trek VI. A travelling matte over a textured background was kept stationary at preset coordinates and mapped onto the top of an IceFX Sphere, whose radius was then keyframed outwards. |
This is only a partial listing of representative works. A full project log is available upon request.
