I have the most wonderful family imaginable! I just couldn't live without my husband and kids.
Mark and I met at Archon (a science fiction/fantasy convention in St. Louis on July 25, 1985. I went to a party with an old boyfriend and ended up talking to Mark the whole weekend. He proposed 2 weeks later and we were married 7 1/2 months later. That was all in 1986-1987.

We have been together for 19 years and our 19th wedding anniversary will be in March 2006. Married life has taken us to Arkansas, Germany and back to Missouri. The first few years were hosted by the US Air Force, with both of us being on active duty at one point.... we returned to Missouri in 1992 when our daughter Miss M was just a year old.

Now our daughter is 14 and our son is 10.
We really treasure our children and the time that we spend with them. Miss M is in 8th grade at a local Jr. High School and Mr. A the 4th grade. They are both musical and pretty busy. Miss M plays tuba in the band and Mr. A plays cello. Children are wonderful and watching them grow is truly bittersweet... it's like watching a flower open and knowing that you will never have those moments but once.
And of course the family isn't complete without mentioning our darling kitties!

Check back soon to see what I've cooked up!
