| What do you know about New Zealand in October? | ||
October is the second month of our spring. The weather is changeable with rain, there are lots of rainbows, gusty winds and there is sometimes snow in the mountain areas. It is sometimes hot and you can get sunburnt. Apple, cherry and citrus trees have blossoms, animals have babies and love is in the air! Labour Day is at the end of the month and Daylight Saving means there is more time outside for activities in the evenings. Cricket begins and some Aucklanders go for their first summer swims from now on. This site always has new stuff every month so come back soon!! See 'This months activities' or links (also in the menu bar above for more culture.)
Help us make this site better. At the moment we are paying for everything. Buy our books! All donations ($$) are also gratefully accepted. Thanks!
