Ed)
You are well known for your dropkneeing, what do you like best about it
and why do you prefer it over prone?
Pano)
Just got sick of groveling and
the waves in Opunake are made for Dk and drawing nice lines.
Ed)
What are your opinions on the inclusion of Dk divisions in many comps now?
Pano)
It's about time, something different for the spectators and there's no
groveling in DK.
Ed)
What do you feel are the keys to being good at dropknee?
Pano)
Being able to hold the rail, being able to draw nice lines on the wave
and being able to enjoy the waves nature is offering us.
Ed)
What board do you currently ride and how does it go?
Pano)
Old Manta Roach which goes solid.
Ed)
You and Dwayne used to live in Aussie, where did you live and what was
it like?
Pano)
All over the show, Sydney then Newcastle then the Sunshine Coast. Grew
up watching heaps of the pros.
Ed)
Have you considered entering the dropknee G.O.B events?
Pano)
Yep, but to poor to travel. I'd like to see how I compare to the pros though.
Ed)
Where do you feel the future of DK is headed?
Pano)
Definitely more moves, with all the best Dker's in the same place they'll
be able to talk and push each other.
Ed)
Anything else you would like to add?
Pano)
Appreciate the waves, don't grovel, just cruise and be happy. Peace
out. |
