WELCOME TO PLANET WRESTLING'S UNIVERSE
The world of Planet Wrestling is situated in a universe much like our own... The major difference is that that the Planet Wrestling organization has been the supreme king of the mountain in the world of professional wrestling ever since it was introduced under its former name, the E-WCW, which was introduced in 1996. Since that time, all other wrestling federations have paled in comparison to the PW as no fed has been able to match Planet Wrestling's talent base in terms of wrestlers or promoters. It is currently the end-all of federations, with other existing feds considered the breeding grounds for future PW superstars; it IS the ultimate pinnacle in sports entertainment today, with no serious competition.

This being said, in the world of Planet Wrestling, the major federations in existence in the REAL world DO NOT EXIST. Thus, there should be no references to the WWF, the WCW, the ECW, Stampede Wrestling, NBW, etc., or of any of the wrestlers who ever wrestled in those organizations (references to other fantasy e-feds, is acceptable, though).

Of course, the development of the E-WCW and the present Planet Wrestling didn't just come out of a vacuum: it has some history leading to the present day. There were many legends to the sport in the days of old as well as stars from more recent history. Most notable from the recent past were the E-WCW title reigns of the now-retired "Dangerous" Devon Walker, the "Extreme Icon" Blizzard, who while in the E-WCW had managed to capture every available singles title, a record no one ever broke. Other wrestlers who made notable impacts on the wrestling world include Absolute Zero, the Nihonjin Connection's Gai-Jin and the always devious Dehumanizer. The tag team division saw the rise and fall of  Fire and Blaze of Inferno, who held the E-WCW tag titles longer than any other team.

Going back even further into the wrestling world's past, before the creation of the E-WCW and its subsequent transformation into Planet Wrestling, we have the legendary heroes such as Mack "Truck" Adams and Chris "The Legend" Taylor who took their place in wrestling history. But Adams, having been "the man" for as many years as he was, wasn't without his enemies: Most notable were the notorious and vile Iranian Assassin and The Ambassador of Pain, the latter who was arguably the first pro wrestler to take things to the extreme, giving us the early beginnings of extreme style wrestling. And who could forget the perfect mesh of high-flying tactics and martial arts expertise of the team of the wonder form down-under, "Jumpin'" Jim Longley and his partner Kim Chang?...

On July 14th, 1999, the E-WCW's presidency changed hands, moving from the control of longtime owner and President Manuel Camara to the Gibbs brothers, Brian and Gary. Changes were swift, and the Gibbs wasted no time in re-vamping the rules of the federation as well as changing the federation's name to the present "Planet Wrestling" and moving the fed's base of operations to the newly constructed Planet Dome. The roster grew in numbers, and a large-scale advertising campaign was launched to propel Planet Wrestling even further ahead, truly achieving the mark of having "the highest quality in sports entertainment"...

During the year 2000, Planet Wrestling became a member of the United Wrestling Promotions, an organization dedicated to bringing wrestling federations together and their respective wrestlers into the same rings, for inter-federational matches. Since it became a member, Planet Wrestling has won the UWP's most presitgous title: The World Grand Unified Heavyweight Championship, and thus claimed the UWP's Bonesnapper's Memorial Cup, further proving that Planet Wrestling's athletes are at the top of the ladder in the wrestling world.

Today, the dream of Planet Wrestling lives on, as new chapters in the history of proffesional wrestling continue to be written.
