As an Austin, resident and a lover of The Wizard of Oz, I have often heard Austin be compared to the Emerald City. It definitely has magical qualities. I made this design to show my love and appreciation for both.
This menu was created as a class project for a Mock Restaurant. I really enjoyed working on this project and learning what it would be like to design Print Work. I enjoyed putting together the menus for my restaurant, stying it with the restaurant's logo and adding my own personal touches to the designs.
This image was is the back side of the menu. I loved looking at pictures of Italian Dishes and deciding what would be on the menu. It was a fun project and I hope to have the opportunity create a menu like this again some day.
This design started out as just a small piece that I had made while doodling in Adobe Illustrator and I turned it in to a Valentine's Day Card.
This is a design that I had wanted to do for a long time. I like the pop art style and decided to use an image of my dog Juno to create the pop art design.
This is a design that I had been playing around with and turned in as an assignment. Since Tacos are so popular both in Austin, Texas and in many other part of the country, I did this piece to celebrate Taco Tuesday and created a tagline for it. I like the way it turned out.
This is a design for a happy hour that I created for an assignment. I enjoyed making this design and playing around with different effects for the martini, since it was the focal point of the design. I went with the inner glow effect since it seemed to highlight the center of the dring as if the light were hitting it just right.
This is a design that created for an assignment for a mock bakery. I enjoyed making the logo for the Upper Crust Bakery and all of the branding items.
