So today something shook my confidence in the coolness of the web today. One of my favorite and oft-checked websites, FARK.com, commited one of the most grievous atrocities ever to befall the internets.
It set it's main page to auto-refresh.
Thankfully, after rooting around the pages source code, there was a hidden announcement just ahead of the refresh command that said this "expiriment" would only be for today. But my trust has already been shaken. The mere though that the site should auto-refresh itself is a crime so heinous, so diabolical, so insidious, that I fear I shall never view the site the same again.
FARK.com has violated one of my sacred laws of the internet.
Because of this crime, nay...abomination against internet protocal and decency, I here-by open a new section of the site, in an effort to educate the retarded. An attempt - vain and futile tho it may be - to cast out intollerable web design. These laws are simple truths aimed at easing the suffering of net browsers everywhere. Truths which most are aware of. But somehow, these truths escape the grasp of those who construct the virtual communities we've all come to love and cherish, creating oppressive regimes of despair, crushing our sensibilities and urging us to accept what is slowly killing us.
(end melodrama)
And so without further ado...I present No Quarter

Led Zeppelin, and
The Tea Party.
Over the Hills and Far Away
- Links to cool stuff that isn't on this site.
