Despite the somewhat fruity sounding name, this is one of my new favorite bands. Sounding something like Days of the New mixed with Led Zeppelin, and Pearl Jam crossed with the Doors, their unique blend of rock, folk, and eastern sounds is amazing and probably like nothing you've ever heard before. And the really strange part is that they're from Canada/Detroit.

The band has been around since 1991, but has remained mostly unnoticed in the states. How this amazing band was overlooked by every radio station around I have no idea. I'm just glad I stumbled onto them one day searching for new music to listen to. I strongly encourage all y'all to give em a listen.

My personal favorite songs are Cathartik, Chimera, Gone, Heaven Coming Down, and The Bazaar. Winter Solstice is a good insturmental track too.
