APPLE'S MANGA TRANSLATIONS
@

Welcome~! This is a mini-site I created to archive all of the manga translations that I have managed to do so far (as the title suggests). Currently it doesn't contain a whole lot, but I intend to increase the amount of translations as I go on. In the future, I may even make scanslations, although I'm a bit doubtful on that one. Anyway, this is just a thing I do to entertain myself, while at the same time, practice reading Japanese, and increase my vocabulary.

As I am not a professional translator (yet), please do expect that there would be translation mistakes here and there. However, I do try to make it all as accurate as I possibly can. Even so, if you have read the manga from where the translations here were based, and if you believe I have made a mistake, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll make sure to give you proper credit for all your help~!

Since there are a lot of big translating groups out there translating famous manga already, even though I do like those (famous other) manga too, I've skipped over them and focused on the somewhat obscure-as-of-now (yet no less wonderful) titles. I'm doing this not only for my own benefit (though it's mostly that) but also to share these other wonderful manga to people who don't have access to them, or, even if they do, can't understand them that well. So you might say I'm also trying to help other people, although that's the least of my concern...*selfish*

Anyway, having said all that (so bluntly), here's the list of the titles I have worked on and/or plan to work on. Be sure to come back here to check for updates~!

Game x Rush
- by Kusanagi Mizuho. After reading NG Life, and having enjoyed it so much, I decided to check out the rest of Kusanagi-sensei's works. This one happens to be my favorite, and incidentally, the first one I translated. Comes in two volumes, with six chapters each. Basically a bodyguard vs. hit man type of story...at least in the beginning.

Volume 1: [Game 1] [Game 2] [Game 3] [Game 4] [Game 5] [Game 6] [Game x Rush Mini-playhouse + What If...?]
Volume 2: [Game 7] [Game 8] [Game 9] [Game 10] [Game 11] [Game 12] [Game x Rush Mini-playhouse + What If...? + Afterword]

NG Life
(No-Good Life) - by Kusanagi Mizuho. A short comedy that appeared in Hana to Yume #8, 2006 Issue. Incidentally, the first Kusanagi story I have read.^_^ The teaser goes something like, "the previous world, or this world? Love Panic." The main character used to be a warrior in his previous life, and he lived happily, with his wife and best friend beside him...until something happened. In his present life, he is a high school student, his best friend was reborn as a girl, and his beautiful wife that he loved so much was reborn as...an impudent middle-school boy. Worth a read, I promise.

[NG Life]

Yoiko no Kokoroe
(Tips From a Good Kid) - by Kusanagi Mizuho. This is her debut title, meant only as a short, but it got good responses so she made it a full volume. Currently only one volume, but it might get more. It's the story of a delinquent-turned-student council chairperson, and his council members. And how they dealt with the school, and with each other.

Volume 1: [Chapter 1] [Chapter 2] [Chapter 3] [Chapter 4] [Chapter 5] [Extra: Ashitaka High School Art Block]
Not Volumized: [2006/6/1 The Hana to Yume Chapter]

Mugen Spiral
(Fantasy Spiral) - by Kusanagi Mizuho. This is her second title, right after Yoiko and before Game x Rush. Comes in two volumes, same as Game x Rush. A spiritual medium vs. a demon prince...at least in the beginning.

Volume 1: [Chapter 1] [Chapter 2] [Chapter 3] [Chapter 4] [Chapter 5] [Chapter 6]
Volume 2: [Chapter 7] [Chapter 8] [Chapter 9] [Final] [Special] [Extra: Someday]

Suitei Seinen Shoujou
(A Girl's Presumption of Youth) - by Matsuzuki Kou. This is her first work, a short that appeared in The Hana to Yume. The story of a girl with a mature face, and a boy with a...young face. And that's it.=D Just a short, as I said.

[Suitei Seinen Shoujou]

Shiawase Kissa 3choume
(Happiness Cafe on Third Street) - by Matsuzuki Kou. This is her debut series. Currently has three volumes, and still ongoing in Hana to Yume. The story of a girl working a part-time job in a cafe, her two eccentric co-workers, and the people around them. Mostly comedy, with some drama and maybe a bit of romance.

Volume 1: [Chapter 1] [Chapter 2] [Chapter 3] [Chapter 4] [Chapter 5] [Omake]
Volume 2: [Chapter 6] [Chapter 7] [Chapter 8] [Chapter 9] [Chapter 10] [Omake]
Volume 3: [Chapter 11] [Chapter 12] [Chapter 13] [Chapter 14] [Chapter 15] [Chapter 16] [Omake] [Matsuzuki Big Picture Book]
Not Volumized: [Chapter 17] [Chapter 18] [Chapter 19] [Chapter 20] [Chapter 21] [Chapter 22] [Chapter 23]

is a registered trademark of Hakusensha. I don't do any of this to get money or profit. Please don't steal my translations~! Not that they'd be good enough to steal, but in any case, don't do something like passing them off as your own and distributing them all around. If you want to put my translations on your site, feel free to do so, but the least you can do is give me credit. It's all I'm asking. Thank you.

If you have any comments, reactions, suggestions, and corrections to my translations, please email them to me at: nurikoryen dot gmail dot com. Or click on my name below. Thanks a lot~!
