(It’s Yuuki’s turn this time around.)

It was written in a book…

“When a Pisces person with the AB blood type loves someone, he would love with utter devotion.

…That’s the Pisces AB blood type that is me.

(Note: Certain parts of this little section contain flashbacks. But generally, the present time line would be when Yuuki and Memori were recuperating in the hospital, right after the fire.)

{Game x Rush Again}

Himiko: Nee, Yuuki-kun…you loved Miyuki-san, right?

Himiko: During the time when you lived with her, just the two of you, you never had the urge to suddenly “express” that... “love?”

(And Yuuki, who at that time was drinking a cup of tea suddenly sprays it.)

[Sensei: Sometimes smoothly outrageous Himiko-chan]

(Yuuki with his hand on his face. Crying? And Memori watching him incredulously and with a fang showing.xD)

Yuuki: What…Tha…That’s…

Yuuki: Well…

Memori: Hold on a minute, you…!

Memori: Don’t make fun of me! That’s my MOTHER you’re talking about!

Yuuki: My mo…!(vein) Haa haa haa…. Who knows? I might have become Memori-chan’s FATHER!!!

Memori: Hah. Even though she treated you like her son? No way, man. No way.

Yuuki: (more vein) That’s it…you’ve done it now…! You know, I haven’t had the urge to kill you for a long time~!

Memori: Keh! Just try and do it, you pseudo-killer!

(Yuuki is aiming a…fruit knife at Memori. And Himiko is calmly drinking tea.)

[Sensei: I don’t think these two can ever manage a decent conversation…]

{A Mom? Or A Woman?}

[Yuuki Shin, 14 years old.]

(A lot of packages—chocolates.)

Miyuki: Memori…you got a lot of chocolates.

Yuuki: Ah…well today is Valentine’s Day. And I’m a bit popular, I guess…

Miyuki: So then…my chocolates…

Miyuki: You don’t need them anymore?

(Miyuki with…I don’t know, bright sparklies in the background? This is Yuuki’s flashback, so. Anyway, she’s blushing a bit.)

Yuuki: She was really cruel, your Mom. (His eyes get teary just remembering.xD)

Memori: (is looking at the upper frame) Why is she blushing? Ah, right now I can sympathize…

{Forever a Young Girl}

[Yuuki Shin, 17 years old]

(Yuuki looks like the Yuuki that we know now.)

Yuuki: Yuki-san, don’t you have someone out there that you’re in love with?

Miyuki: Eh…?

Yuuki: Yuki-san, you’re still young. If you do something like remarry, I…

Yuuki: I can give up on you.

(Miyuki, looking really pretty.)

Miyuki: This is enough for me.

Miyuki: Because I’m already married to Memori.

Yuuki: (crying) What am I supposed to say and do after that? How could she say such a thing, and with that face that still looks like a young girl’s even after twelve years…!! I didn’t even get to lay a hand on her!!!

Memori: (crying, but I think he’s being sarcastic) I should cry for you… How you’ve suffered…!

{A Question for Yuuki-kun}

Q: What do you think of Fujieda Memori?

Yuuki: What…?

Yuuki: Can I be really honest? …

Yuuki: I HATE HIM.

Yuuki: Try to think about it!! That person was my first love, but then just when I thought she had given me that name “Memori” it turns out that she calls me “Memori” because she thinks I’m her son! And “Yuuki Shin” was just put aside! And then, when I went to see that real “Memori” who bothered me so much, turns out he forgot all about his mother and was living a happy easy life!!! And I’ve been following the movement of that guy for 10 years!!!

Yuuki: (crying with his head on his arms) GIVE ME BACK MY CHILDHOOD!!!!!!

Memori: Fu~h. I’ll offer you my childhood. Do you want it? Yeah, that’ll be meaningful…

Memori: But hey, since you’re in love with my face…

Yuuki: I REALLY WANT TO KILL YOU AFTER ALL!!!

[Sensei: Since Yuuki yearned for him anyway, he’ll say anything, Memori-chan.]

-The Twelve Years That I Loved End-

(Translator’s Note: Well, this little short just about clears up what Yuuki’s “true feelings” for Miyuki actually are. I mean, just in case it wasn’t clear enough in Game 12. And also, just how obsessed Miyuki is with her son.xD And oh, just to please myself: that Memori is open to any “possibilities,” i.e. potential relationship with a certain someone.xD)

What if Kenjuu was…

Kenjuu: Ou—Memorii! Did you just say you’re not gonna listen to you big brother’s orders?! (is punching Memori)

Memori: Shit—! I don’t need a tyrannical brother!!!

…A woman?

Kenko: Then what about a big sister?

(Kenjuu…sorry, Kenko—with a cigarette in her hand and with one high-heeled foot resting on Memori’s back. Oh, and Kenko is wearing a dress. )

[Sign: Kenko-san (29) Big-chested.]

Memori: Your heels are deeply digging into my back, Onee-sama!

Being the younger brother is unnecessarily troublesome.

(Kenko by the fridge, wearing shorts and a towel around her neck. And NO shirt. OMGwtf. This has got to be Memori’s worst nightmare.)

Kenko: Fill my bath up to the brim~

Memori: Could you please make sure to wear clothes? Even in the house, how many times…

Himiko: Kenko-chan~! (latches onto Kenko)

Kenko: What do you want, Himiko? (there are hearts surrounding the two of them *cough*)

Memori: Wait a second!!! You think it’s fine like that?!

Yuuki: Isn’t it? I want to see this a bit—

Thank you for reading Game x Rush Volume 2!

As you can see from the whole thing, even though this manga took a lot of work, the whole time I was writing this from the start up to the very end, I think it was great. As a whole, the scenes in Game x Rush that I had really wanted to draw were Chapter 1’s [Interview part 3?] face (Yuuki) and the one in the Final Chapter, p.178 (Memori).

(Another one would be the 16-year old Sayako in blazers. I’m glad I was able to draw this…)

The friendship that these two have is a little bit different. If I may me bold as to say it, [My other self], maybe (is what they think of each other). I’m very happy that I was able to let you all feel this subtle “bond” between the two (Memori and Yuuki).

And by the way, the quotation marks in “bond” was not Kusanagi-sensei’s doing. That’s just me trying to please myself again.xD Hell, try and figure it out. I’ve taken a whole lot of liberties with translating this one…)
