  • Career Services Workshops (you want a job, right?)
    o Nov 6 : Finding a Job in Higher Education
    a workshop lead by distinguished School of Music faculty who have successfully maneuvered their way to excellent college teaching positions and who have also helped to hire their colleagues. Panelists: Professors Tom Bauman, Maud Hickey and Judith Willoughby.
    o Nov 13 : Your School of Music Resources
    a general information session for students interested in registering with the Career Services Office and establishing a placement file. Dorothy Wyandt will explain what her office can do to help in your search.
    o Nov 20 : The All Important Interview
    a discussion of what will happen when you're invited for that interview. How do you prepare? How should you behave? What should you wear? What about the audition? The panel will discuss all of the do's and don'ts of that experience. Panelists: Russell Dagon, Mallory Thompson and Peter Webster

    All workshops take place on Thursday at 4:30 pm in MAB 229.
