| this is an old submarine that was used in wars...most of the occupants were sent on suicide missions without even knowing...there was no way to retrieve the sub after it was used...it is in front of the Cathedral... |

| Lafayette Cemetary is on the Graveyards Tour...its wall is a crypt in and of itself...all of the graves are crypts because the city is below sea level and they can't bury anyone...there are beautiful statues and crypts in this cemetary...it is in the garden district and right across the street from the Anne Rice museum... |
