| they have yet to come out with an album that i don't like...each one is a unique evolution...each one more haunting than the last...they have never dissapointed me...i have never seen these guys in concert...i would give almost anything to do so...it takes a lot to make me a fan...these guys give their all to the music...and it is powerful,beautiful, moving, and sometimes even disturbing... |
| new music has a way of showing up in my life right when i need it...TOOL was no exception...opening my mind (and blowing it) and challenging me right when that was exactly what i needed... |
| it is rare that i would say that something has changed my life...but TOOL has...and i have to give them credit for that...they changed me for the better i believe...my life is different because of them...i stand up for myself now and think for myself...they are part of who i am... |
| the old saying that when you know someone else that feels the same way you do or has the same thoughts or has been through the same shit as you have you are comforted is true...TOOL comforts me much in this way and makes me fear myself and my dark places less...they set me free in a way i never thought i could be free... |
| all i can say is that it must be easy to be someone's hero when you have no knowledge that you are...it makes me wonder if i have ever inspired anyone the same way...and if not i must try harder.. |
