| Norwich University EMS provides many different services to the university, its students, university clubs, the seperate ROTC branches, the faculty, the staff and many others throughout the school year. Listed below are some, but by no means all, of the services NUEMS provides the entire Norwich Community throughout the academic year. For the Norwich University Campus: NUEMS provides rapid BLS (Basic Life Support) care for the entire NU campus and all of Norwich's surrounding properties on a 24 hour basis. NUEMS will also act as a BLS back up for Northfield Ambulance and NU Security when requested to do so. For Norwich University Clubs: NUEMS can provide all clubs of NU medical stand-by services and has done so for many events in the past. A very minimal donation is asked for when we provide these services for most events, however, the amount is almost 75% lower than using a regular EMS service to stand by. NUEMS provides medical backup to the NU TIPS program, Regimental and Junior Ring Balls, Navy and Marine Corps Balls, IEEE Poker Nights, all Junior Ring Weekend Activites, Corps of Cadets Functions and events and much more. For the Norwich University ROTCs: NUEMS provides BLS support for any ROTC and their Field Training Exercises or FTXs when requested to do so by the specific ROTC Detachment.
