This is a story Marlo (and Marlo 2) Vincent and David Vincent (no relation - or maybe some obscure relationship...I don't know.  Anyway, David is a vampire and Marlo is a half human/half werewolf.  On the night of the full moon all werewolves are supposed to change into their wolf form...however Marlo comes from the Yam Tribe...which has a strange quirk...some of the werewolves...actually turn into girls for the night of the full moon.  Wouldn't you know that is how the tribe keeps on breeding...waiting for that one night a month so that they can shag the wolfy babe?  Marlo happens to be the kind of werewolf that turns into a girl on the night of the full moon...and well her -- er HIS parents decide that the only solution to Marlo's problem is from him to marry David.  Okay...there is more to it then that.  David likes Marlo...he liked Marlo even before he found out about Marlo's peculiar transformation.  Marlo of course isn't too happy about HIS parents and David's parents decision to marry the two of them together...but oh well what's a good daught -- er SON to do?  Besides, Marlo secretly likes David too.

Is there more to this story than that?  Sure, it's full of previous love interests of David and Marlo...always interfering  It's replete with sharp pointy objects...hmmm...and...heck its cute.  

This story is sweet, it isn't FAKE but it definitely has its moments.  Marlo and David are cute together, the theme is definitely original (I've only heard of two other tales with similar type plot twists..."Futaba Cun Change" and one other...by the creator of InuYasha...dang can't remember it right now), I wish that there had been more m/m action...but still it was a cute little story.

Manga - 2 volumes

The art is very reminiscent of FAKE (it is after all created by the same Mangaka: Sanami Matoh) so if you like her style than this story is for you.  (I do like her art!)

The characters look kind of like the characters in FAKE...So it always seems as if the CAST of FAKE is putting on a PLAY.  Its a bit disconcerting to see Dee's face when I look at David...or Ryo's when I look at Marlo...And I could have sworn that Marlo's girlfriend was none other than FBI agent Diana Spacey...

So....The characters look like themselves in the volumes...except of course that they also look like the cast from FAKE...so...damn

I enjoyed UTFM, it was a sweet little story.  Not really YAOI enough for me and I guess in the END it really wasn't yaoi in the sense that it was 2 guys being together...even though in a sense it was 2 guys being together...except for every once upon a full moon when he became a she.  AH well.  It is a cute story. You can see why I had to label it "?" since this is one of those hard to catagorize stories
