The Golden Star Lounge show, September 2005
On Septmber 17, the GSL invaded the Mercury Lounge with the UK Poets Invasion, featuring The Best Kept Secret from England and The Original One from Toronto: a historic show!.

The Golden Star Lounge show, October 2005
On October 28, the GSL returned to the East African Restaurant (formerly the African Palace) to range from North to South with Taqralik Partridge (Montreal/Nunavik) and The Storm (Toronto), two execeptionally talented spoken word artists.

On December 1, the GSL broke new ground once again by presenting a bilingual spoken word poetry show with Fortner Anderson from Montreal, and Marcel Joseph and Eddy Garnier form Gatineau.

On Feburary 26, 2006, the GSL presented spoken word poetry/live music collective, Kalmunity form Montreal, hot off the heels of a jam-packed Black History Month kick-off on January 28 with Canada's hardest working poet, the Man Behind the Mic, Dwayne Morgan.
