Richard remains active as a painter, printmaker and graphic artist.
He has had 16 one-man exhibitions in his career since 1950. He had a one
man show at John Jay College, NYC 1996, a major painting show in "Art of
the Northeast" 47th Annual Exhibition, Silvermine Guild Arts Center, New
Canaan, Connecticut, (chosen by the leo Castelli Gallery, NYC) 1996, a
major painting shown in the "171 Annual Exhibition" National Academy of
Design in NYC., 1996, and six paintings shown at the Glass Gallery of Art,
NYC. 1997.

Richard will be serving on the jury to award Fulbright Fellowships at
the united Nations Plaza in December 1996 and will judge the painting exhibition
at the Pen and Brush Club in NYC in 1997. His works can be seen in the

it is in the collection but not always on display]; the Hirshhorn Museum
& Sculpture Gallery, Washington, DC; The Phillips Collection, Washington,
