My Shops
Acquiring a 'shop' is a
never ending process of squeezing a few more inches out of our seriously
overstuffed condo. The lower shop is where I create my precision firewood
and other products. The dimensions of the lower shop are about 7' X 17'
and include water heater, gas furnace, 33 gal barrel for can crushing and some
misc. household storage. The upper shop is
my clean(?) room where the computer resides with books, patterns, sewing machine
and fabric bins, genealogy boxes, and household items.
Lower 'shop'

Peg board, shelving for stereo, pattern making tools,
overhead Dremel support, tole painting supplies, sanding supplies and
water heater. |
 |
Directly across from table is open shelving for stained
glass supplies, ceramic finishing supplies hardware and wood
storage. |
 |
Wood storage shelving and counter for Inland glass cutting
bandsaw and grinder. Also on lower shelf DeWalt jig saw in case and
behind grinder are the Dremel drill press and routers. |
 |
More peg board storage, for intarsia sanding drums, Ryobi
scrollsaw and drill press, Craftsman tablesaw and misc household storage. |
 |
At the far end of the garage I've shelved off a section for
finishing work. I also intend to improve the ply storage area to
facilitate storage of completed yard ornaments. |

Upper:
This is my clean(?) room.

My computer shares the 60" table with sewing machine
and assorted desktop necessities. The shelving on the walls holds my
catalogs, wood, glass and painting pattern magazines, stationery and
writing supplies, several boxes of genealogy records and self improvement
books. |
 |
Under the table I have storage units to hold fabric and
sewing supplies, computer supplies, scrapbooking supplies, file cabinet
and misc. household storage. |
 |
Home improvement magazines, additional craft supply storage,
travel info, books, games and some of DeanO's history:) |

I will be moving into Margo's old room in a few weeks and
hope to make some sense out of this mess. |
