Welcome to my Craft Site.  I hope you enjoy meandering through the  creative maze of my mind.  The purpose of this site is to display both my recent works and the previous learning projects.

Over the years I have touched upon several creative outlets but at this time wood seems to have captured my attention.   Scroll sawing being the primary form of expression at this time with tendrils peeking in to ornamental painting.

I  hope to acquire some usable skills with a Cad-type drawing program so I can design and create some of the concepts stuck in my head.

I have also toyed in stained glass and hope to one day marry the glass and wood into the functional pieces I see in my mind's eye.

With this attempt to put my projects in the public eye I also realize I need to establish a photography center.  Maybe that's what I can use the unused corner of the garage for:)

Please enjoy the journey, I sure do.

Scrapbooking and custom card making - This is something that will coincide with my genealogy work once I get set up in the other room. (and it's too hot/cold to make dust and too hot/cold to paint and I don't have any new pattern magazines and we aren't geocaching.....ok don't look for anything too soon:)

Stained Glass

I've only toyed with the stained glass on a few projects.  The 3-D Hanley forms gave me the most satisfaction.  It continues to amaze me how I remain relatively unscathed when handling all that broken glass:)

Stitchery

I haven't done much in the stitchery arena over the last few years.  I have posted a picture of the quilt I made many snows ago.  I've begun to sew a few items of clothing, trying to create the sense of style I see in my head and cannot buy.  This will be easier to do when I have space to spread out my materials and tools.

Wood

The only reason wood comes last in this list is because I decided to alphabetize.  At the present I am endeavoring to focus on what I really like most about the wood and improving my skills.  Throughout my life I've always been a tinkerer in many projects and master of none.  I intend to change that.
