HIGH POINTS 2008/2009 SEASON

Don’t’ forget to get your High Points registration form in by the end of this month if you want to be eligible for all A&P shows running standardbred classes in the North Island this season.  Shows that are attended before complete registration and payment are received will not be eligible for points.

Striker has a new home!!!!

The little gelding that we advertised a few weeks ago has a new home.  Elite Strike (aka Striker) has now taken up residence in Rotorua with member Mel Scott. 

Deanna kindly went around to the owners and got some photos for members that enquired about him to discover instead of a 15.1hh black gelding, Striker is in fact about 15.3hh and dark bay!  But nevertheless, a lovely kind boy all the same.

He is settling in well with Mel, although Classy Fella (aka Mr Mikey) has had his nose put out of joint a bit with now having to share his paddock with this new comer.  Mel is hoping to get Striker out to a few of the shows this season, so perhaps Mikey is a bit concerned about the competition in the ring?!
