Yancey Brown has been singing Gospel Music and playing the bass guitar since he was
15 years old. 2004 celebrates 25 years of singing ministry. He is one of the original members
of "Northern Lights". He loves getting out and meeting new friends at concerts wherever
they are able to play. Yancey married Sandy Tillotson in May of 2004 and gained a
wonderful wife and helpmate along with two wonderful daughters, Emily and Bethany.
Another daughter, McKenzy, joined the family in February, 2005.
He also enjoys talking in Gospel Music chat rooms, sports and riding his ATV around the
hills here in the Catskill Mountains when the weather is warm, and on his arctic cat
snowmobile in the winter.
