Class 2A Semifinal Winnebago Stung by Seaton's Quickness Winnebago came, saw and conquered everyone they had played this season. Class 2A Consolation Winnebago Falls in Game of Previous Unbeatens Both Winnebago and Marshall entered the Class 2A State Tournament with unbeaten records. One team had to start a streak of their own. State Tournament Miscellany This is the second year of the four-class system in Illinois high school basketball. It's my first appearance to Carver Arena since covering Rockford Boylan's Class AA run in 2007. Annawan and Winnebago had their sights set on the Class 1A and 2A trophy, respectively. |
