PRESTON MULTIPLE BIRTHS GROUP
Newsletter November 2001
Welcome Back again!
I think everyone will agree that our move to the Wacky Warehouse at the Toy Soldier was a good move. We now have more space and a proper play area, so it's easier to chat away!! (All we need now is a nice quiet area for the tiny members of our group to sleep!!)
Please bring up any ideas you may have to make our club even better, what else would you like the club to do? Would you like me to arrange for people to visit us and give demonstrations or pamper us???? What ideas do you have?
Your input matters, as this is a club about you and your families.
Unsuitable shopping places with Twins!
Pamela pointed out to me at the last meeting that the lifts in the Fishergate centre, the TJ Hughes one in particular, were too narrow for a double buggy to fit through. Anybody else had a problem with lifts in Shopping centres? And this lift in particular?
Suitable Places for Twins/Multiples
As I am compiling a list of places unsuitable for twin prams, I thought I would like to even up the balance.if you have found anywhere that gives us multiple mums extra special service and even a discount then please tell us and I can spread the word!!
Postcards and Stamps for TAMBA.
Please keep bringing me your used stamps and postcards so that I can forward them to Tamba. Tamba can then use them to raise funds for their research and campaigns etc.
Web Site info.
We still need more info and ideas for our webpage and our own printed "guides to being a Multiple parent"
Your own top ten survival tips would do, or if you want to be a little more adventurous then your pregnancy or birth story will do!!!!!!
Christmas Party .
Still no details yet!!!
Christmas night out for mums!!
Anyone interested if we organise a night out for us tired, stressed and hardworked mums??? Please tell me if you are interested.
Equipment list.
Still need more items to make this list viable, so anything you would like to sell tell me about it and I can put it on the list so that others wanting to but equipment can see what is for sale.
Webb Ivory
Its not too late to place an order for Christmas. For every 4 we spend on their things we get a 1 for our group, so if you can please support us by buying something.
