Welcome to the Website of the North Belconnen Landcare Group (NBLG). We are based in the North of the ACT under the umbrella of the Ginninderra Catchment Group (GCG) which is responsible for Landcare coordination within the Ginninderra Creek Catchment. As such this organisation contributes to the management of a wide variety of environments including urban, rural, riparian/aquatic zones, high value grasslands, woodlands and grassy woodlands. It is for this reason that we have a large number of dedicated volunteers who contribute time and energy to this much needed work and in return get satisfaction and the opportunity to meet people and make new friends. The North Beloconnen Landcare Group (NBLG) is a subgroup which concentrates its efforts on areas either side of Ginninderra Creek adjoining the suburbs of Evatt and Melba.
The North Belconnen Landcare Group is always keen to welcome new volunteers. We have a regular meet every second week. Please contact us for current times. We meet at 6 Spain Place, Evatt.
