How did we get started?

A few of us Buhund fanciers were talking and came up with an idea to form a web site dedicated to the Norwegian Buhund with no specific aim at any one Buhund club or Breeder. Our goal is to be an informative site, a one stop resource center for Bu's!

Our vision is to have one place for resources and links and fun information on the Buhund for people WORLDWIDE. Our ultimate goal is to develop educated Buhund owners/fanciers so they in turn could help the cause of keeping the Buhund breed pure and healthy.

We welcome those that are multi-lingual to translate the pages that are currently in English, to their native language! We would welcome any photo's of people's Bu's to go on the photo album and we would also like to hear from any other breeders that want to be linked. We are also thinking about doing a page for Stud dogs, or puppies available for those that do not have their own websites! Of course, all stud dogs must be Hip Scored and their eyes certificated as well as the parents of all puppies to be advertised too - regardless of their country of origin! We would even welcome the pedigrees with their respective hip and eye scores/certs to post as well!
