Sonic is  rescue dog

 

DOB: December 19, 1994

 

 

Sonic is a dog we adopted at one year of age.  His previous owners claimed he was “untrainable” and they did not have time for him.  We took Sonic in with the intention of finding a suitable home for him.  Years later, he is still with us and will be forever.  Sonic was our first Australian Shepherd and has hooked us on the breed. 

 

In addition to competing in agility, obedience and herding, Sonic is also one of America’s Best Singing Dogs.  Sonic has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs and has been seen in TV commercials.  Sonic’s pension for singing keeps birthday parties lively!

 

Sonic’s agility handler changed in 2002 and he is now handled by his Dad, Chris.  Chris and Sonic debuted with a clean run in P1 level of USDAA.  In March of 2002, Sonic and Chris had their first AKC excellent standard run together and finished with a clean run and a second place.  Look for Dad and Son at a show near you. *****NEWSFLASH**** Sonic is 2002 high Veteran Agility Dog for the Florida Australian Shepherd Association!!
