 ABOUT NORAUST KENNEL AND TRAINING

 

NorAust Kennel and Training is owned by Cindy Elliott.  Cindy and Chris, long time dog enthusiasts and exhibitors are owned by a group of Norwegian Elkhounds and Australian Shepherds.  NorAust derives its name from NORwegian Elkhound and AUSTtralian Shepherds.  The two breeds that have brought much joy to our family.  Cindy always found it difficult to find a wonderful place to leave her pets where their care would be maintained to “at home” standards.  After moving from the Tampa Bay area, Cindy gave up her job as an Accountant and decided to make her dream a reality.  NorAust is an owner run facility, priding itself on offering immaculate, spacious facilities catering to the canine enthusiast.

 

Cindy is a Certified Pet Care Technician with the American Boarding Kennel Association.  She is also certified to administer the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test.  In addition, Cindy is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the American Kennel Club and many other dog organizations.  Cindy is an active volunteer with local and National breed rescue groups and humane organizations.  NorAust regularly opens its doors for homeless Elkies and Aussies and often has one or two foster dogs on the premises.

 

NorAust is available to do demonstrations for schools, humane organizations, animal business, or any other organization.
