Now, basically for every other part of your vector, you just need to follow the same steps that you did for the first two layers of skin. Just another thing to keep your eye on is the Vecs folder.. it should look something like Image 9 1/2 (only w/ different colors since this image was added after 'Lindsay' was done).
Each time you click somewhere w/ your Pen Tool
a new layer will appear in your Vecs folder that
shows you the new shape. If you screw up, they
are so easy to delete, duplicate, move.. you name
it.
If you've decided to make a variety of folders for
your vector, then just make sure the right shape
is in the right folder and your good to go.

Vectoring hair is hard. Don't get discouraged because even for the best, its not the easiest thing to do. I mean, there are so many different colors and tones to hair, and shapes. As you vector more and more you'll develope your own techniques for hair as you will for everything, but for now... if you want to be like me. Heres how you vector hair.
I HATE vectoring hair. Its like the worst part of a vector. So, usually what i do... is i'll pick out the colors that sort of rule the coif. The shades that stand out the most are the ones i use. I vector them where i see them and eventually they make some nice hair. After i've used those i just pick out little colors and add them wherever i see fit.
See Image 10.
Go into as deep of detail as you want. Usually just make sure that you've picked out the darker colors that define certain shapes and then the lighter colors that work w/ the lights and shadows and you've got yourself some hair.
Now your pretty much on the downhill stretch of your vector. Adding the Features and little details are what will make your picture really come together.Just continue to repeat the same steps as you did for the skin and the hair for the eyes and lips. Don't forget shine, pupils and all that jazz.

For the eyes, i think its really important to always get the darker outer rim and then all the little glares and reflections. I mean, you don't want your eyes to be to boring. Check out Image 11 for a good idea.
Same goes for lips, just get the shades that define the shape and shadows and shine.
For teeth and stuff like that, i try not to make them completly white. Try taking a color that is maybe more "eggshell".
