| History |
| The Nook is probably about 250 years old, it is mentioned on the first map dating from 1830. Herewith you'll find an extract from pages that were found in the visitor's book in July 2000 and written by Charles O'Neill whose grandfather and mother lived in the Nook in 30's and 40's. He describes the Nook in that time when it consisted of two cottages. On the picture below that dates from the 1980's you can still see two front doors. One is now converted into a window. The inside wall that divided the dining room and the kitchen is knocked down in order to make a larger "open kitchen/dining room". |
