Chapter 4
�Ahh.. Momo! Echizen! What�s going on? So, you did plan on coming to practice today?� Taka-san stepped forward and stared at the pair of them. Fuji, from behind him, smiled eerily.
After finally placing his eyes on the newcomer, Kaidoh averted his eyes abruptly, hissed and growled:
�What do you think you�re doing, being this late, you idiot?�
Momo didn�t take this very lightly.
�Who�s an idiot?�
�Huh!� Kaidoh snorted, �You�re so stupid, you don�t realise when I�m talking to you!�
�What was that??� Momo shouted back to him. Their fight however, was cut short.
�Second-years! Stop fighting!� The temporary captain shouted as he entered the courts. He looked at them briefly, �You guys are really late. But at least you�re here.� He sounded somewhat cool, as he commanded them both, and they stood, bowed and apologized, and got ready to run their laps as punishment. Except from the laps for their bad punctuality, they had almost gotten away with it. No they had� however�
�Wait! Stop!! STOP!!� The boys paused, turned and addressed their sempai. �What�re you holding, Momo?� Eiji asked, almost patronisingly.
Momo stopped in his tracks; he panicked. Surely, he couldn�t have�?
�Isn�t that�?� Fuji joined in. Fuji liked to torture people.
Momo now knew his dreadful mistake. He frowned and waited for the verdict of the sempais.
�So it was you who took my Data Book, as I thought.� Inui muttered. �You didn�t have to mess up my locker though.� He added, smiling in the face of a bad situation.
Ryoma glared at his sempai. After all the trouble they had gone to, he had brought the Data Book from the locker room. How stupid was he? He sighed, and waited for their punishment.
