| Big brother is watching you!!! That's a remake of something I scratched out when I was a high school senior (1995-1996). I was a boarding's prefect, along with my roommate (also a prefect), trying to keep those under-classman monkeys of our dorm in check. Part of the "psychological warfare" strategy was to make a sketch of these angry eyes and post it outside our door. My roommate then wrote "Big Brother is watching you!!!" under (or above) the eyes. You know, the famous words from the book "1984" which was part of the required reading in our 10th grade. Of course that didn't work half as well as threatening not to distribute dorm food, or better still ... the threat of detentions!! I think I left the sketch on my door after I left. Wonder if the future generation of prefects still use it. Probably not. |
