Wasn't Long ago we thought
it was just the Tories who would let their foot in their mouth
"If you plan to vote
Jan. 23, consider it a homework assignment. Your home is about to be
invaded
by Liberal messages crafted by those who want you to believe that only
Liberals stand for equality, diversity and tolerance.
"Paul Martin will
sling the same bull in the coming TV debates. If there are children in the
room, please equip them with suitably sized barf bags." Winnipeg Sun
columnist Charles Adler, in his December 28th article, Klander Way Over
The Line. Adler can also be heard on the Corus Radio Network and by
visiting his website
www.charlesadler.com.
"The fact is Mr. Martin lived a good deal of his professional life
under the flags of other countries and Mr. Martin constantly tried – and
was successful, I gather – at avoiding paying taxes in Canada. That's the
record." Stephen
Harper responding to Martin's perceived "love" of Canada. He loves Canada
but doesn't want to pay taxes.
Read
More about how Paul Martin manipulates the tax laws for his benefit.
"I don't
know any other party leader, in the history of this country, who aspired
to be Prime Minister, . . . who ran his life under the flags of Barbados
and Liberia to try to avoid paying taxes in this country. That's Paul
Martin's record on his 'love' of Canada."
Stephen Harper, again responding to questions about HIS love of Canada.
"In
the Martin backrooms, fitting in tends to mean "old boy" and bathroom
humour, and ensuring your place is secured by tearing others down."
Former Liberal Cabinet Minister Sheila
Copps and current Toronto Sun
columnist, on the "New" Liberal Party under Martin. Read
Sheila's interesting article:
Liberals Steamy Side
"Some
idiot inadvertently sent out an ad that was not approved and not supported
by the party with the 11 (ads) that were supported,"
BC Liberal (and former CA
member) Keith Martin on the release of the attack ads, particularly the
one attacking the military. Earlier, Paul Martin said on Canada AM he had
approved all the ads. Keith Martins riding is also home to CFB Esquimalt,
Headquarters for Canada's Pacific Fleet. Paul Martin said the ad was
pulled because, "because there were better ads", then he said they were
taken off the web, but they remained on the French version.
"Screw
the Red Book ... Don't tell me what's in the Red Book. I wrote the
goddamned thing. And I know that it's a lot of crap."
Paul Martin,
while Finance Minister, in one of his famous tirades to an aide. Martin
was furious that the aid suggested they stay the course with the Red Book.
Shows again he is the 'Angry Man', not Stephen Harper, and the at the
Liberals deceived Canadians with the Red Book. (I heard it won a Governor
General Prize for Fiction)
"How did Minister
Emerson describe his style at our convention dinner? Oh yes, he said that
Jack Layton had a boiled dog's head smile. That would have made even me
wince if I hadn't have been laughing so hard.''
BC Liberal
President Jamie Elmhirst, on his blog, about a comment what Liberal
Industry Minister, David Emerson said at a pre-election dinner. Just
another way the Liberals are "running on their record", a record which
they have run the past elections by brining down the other parties.
"They'll say anything,
promise anything, knowing full well that they'll ignore their promises the
day after the election's over,"
NDP Leader Jack Layton warning voters not to fall for the prime minister's
scare tactics to vote for the Liberals instead of the NDP to block the
Conservatives.
"They don't vote,
these people."
Liberal Candidate Stan Smith of New Brunswick Southwest, referring to
aboriginals complaints and why he doesn't take them seriously. Smith was
not referring to they cannot vote, but that they choose not to.
Kitchener-Waterloo Liberal MP Andrew Telegdi likened Canada to the Nazi
regime of Adolf Hitler . . . was he not simply “speaking his mind?”
A Toronto-area MP, Tom Wappel refused to assist a disabled,
decorated war veteran because the veteran voted for the Canadian Alliance
in last November’s election . . . was he not merely “speaking his
conscience?”
"I think more than
anything else, they demonstrate what are in fact the consequences of
exclusion." PM
'King' Paul Martin, in response to the recent Toronto Boxing Day
shootings. WHAT?! Are you saying there is an excuse for these shootings?
No gun ban in the world will stop this violence. Yes more social programs
will prevent it but how to stop the current ones. This is just like when
Chrétien hinted that the US deserved 9/11.

activist.

"The US is exporting its problem of
violence to the streets of Toronto" TO Mayor and
Liberal friend, David Miller on the reasons for the gun violence in
Toronto. Impossible and STUPID to say that. The US is not importing this.
We have to realize that although this violence is going on in some US
Cities, it is not the US that promotes it. This problem has been caused by
many incidences. This is like saying that Canada is exporting its problem
of bad movies to the US.
"The right to
bear handguns is not a Canadian value."
-
Ontario Attorney General
Michael Bryant (and LIBERAL). Who does he speak for? We have a right to
buy a gun if we wish, so long as we use it lawfully.
"If you don't have any money and it's raining in your house, you still
call in the plumber."
-
Former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien on why
his government spent millions on the sponsorship program in an attempt to
fight off Quebec separatists. No, if you don't have any money you try to
fix it yourself, then get others to help. You can't spend money you don't
have.
"Somebody might check your wallet before they check your pulse." -
Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh on privatized health care.
This is ridiculous! No doctor worth his spit would check to see if you can
pay before helping you. Look in the US where thousands a day go through
ER's without any coverage but who's lives are saved. We aren't going
towards a 2 tier system either. Don't forget PM Martin goes to a private
doctor and many Liberals dip into the private system to jump the "que".
"I can't believe the
level of crap that comes from the Conservatives. Can't they get off this?"
Liberal Cabinet Minister Reg Alcock
"Mr. Alcock, that was a caller." Rod Breckenridge, QR77 talk show
host. Reg was on the morning show on QR77 with representatives from all 3
major parties. A caller asked Mr. Alcock about the fact that Mr. Martin,
then not an MP, sat on the inquiry on the tainted blood but decided not to
give compensation. The caller asked why Mr. Martin, who then became
Finance Minister continued this course, saying Martin "has blood on his
hands". During the show, Reg continued the
typical Liberal feelings of hypocrisy and arrogance. He also mentioned the
Liberals are not putting forth a negative campaign, although below
comments say to the contrary. Alcock also said, that the Executive VP who
made comments on his blog was just "One in 12 Million, who doesn't
speak for the Liberals." although we all know if it was a Tory who
said those things the Liberals would have been jumping around
crying "RACIST!"
"Unfortunatley
(sic) I couldn't think of anything so I just want to say that I think Jack
Layton is an asshole ... for no reason other than it makes me feel good to
say it ... and because he is." Executive VP of the Ontario Federal
Liberals on his blog. He also posted a picture of Layton's w ife, Olivia
Chow and a Chow dog with the caption, "Separated at birth". Other things
he posted include:
10 Things
that would Piss Me Off During the Election:
-
"Being
dragged out to a Liberal rally, lied to so I'm there 30 minutes early,
and then forced to stand in a hot room that's way too small to give the
appearance that everyone wants to be there."
-
"Harper
being flanked by the sexy Rona Ambrose at every opportunity."
-
"Harper
being flanked by the ethnic Rahim Jaffer at every opportunity."
Again
read carefully! This is a top Liberal aid in Ontario saying these things.
The Liberals are of course trying to back away from this issue, but the
real feelings about Liberals are coming out in this issue, as seen below.
"I think it's beyond tasteless,"
Tory Leader Stephen Harper on press releases to Liberals across Canada. In
the release the Liberals sent this picture with a note that the Tories and
Bloc were in 'cahoots' with e ach other, to 'break up this country'. They
also claimed the two leaders were more obsessed about plotting their
future of Canada than the importance of the occasion which brought them to
this photo, a Holocaust memorial. Meanwhile, the Jewish
community is demanding an apology from the Liberals, for making them the
first casualties in
this nasty election. Obviously the Liberals are pulling strings. This
photo, while taken at the memorial could have easily been Martin and
Layton or Duceppe and Harper. What they said was nothing about politics,
but rather a Liberal ploy to portray themselves as "Captain Canada",
willing to fight the 'evils' of the Tories and Bloc. HA!
"Take your NRA loving ass
back to the US where you belong!"
Oakville
Liberal Riding Association President Elie Bitito to former Liberal member
who emailed the
president at her disgust of the Liberal Party,
particularly the proposed gun control law. She wrote, "In
addition to the millions (if not billions) of dollars that your party has
stolen from Canadians since 1993, Paul Martin's speech today makes it
clear that your party's word isn't worth the breath it's spoken with, . .
. After work today, I signed up as a member of the Conservative Party of
Canada, along with a $100 donation . . . (I'm) sick to death of you lying
bastards." You think the Liberals are the "Nice Guys"? Huh nice way to
treat the "average Canadian".
"Don't give people $25
a day to blow on beer and popcorn."
PM's Director of
Communications, Scott Reid on the Tory plan to give families $1200 a year
for child care as they see fit. Obviously the Liberal plan is, "We
don't trust Canadians with their money" They would rather have parents
send their children to government run, government approved agencies. This
is also an insult to all Beer and popcorn makers of Canada.
"You can choose any
colour you like, so long as it's black. You can choose any child care you
like so long as it's 9-to-5 institutional care." Harper slamming the
Liberals' preference for a government-supported child-care network,
comparing it to Henry Ford's alleged comment to early buyers of his Model
T automobile.
"Alberta Can Blow Me!"
Reid to Calgary Herald reporter, Don Martin
during a Annual National Press Club Roast. Apparently
Reid was 'in the bag' (drunk) when he said that. That's nice, the PM's top
media guy is drunk at the biggest media bash of the year. When Martin
pressed Reid for an interview with the PM, as he had asked for since the
spring, Reid replied, ""You're
not getting anything because you're with the Calgary Herald" For those
of you who don't know, the Herald is known for its pro-conservative
outlooks, particularly Martin.
"People still have the impression that the province of Quebec is the
milking cow for all of Canada. That is not the case. The province of
Quebec needs equalization payments and money. . .
otherwise it couldn't make ends meet, . . .(Quebec is) a
very poor province."
Yes the
"Captain Canada" Team, the Liberals said this. Hélène Chalifour-Sherrer,
Liberal Leader Paul Martin's former principal secretary and now a
candidate in the Quebec City riding of Louis Hébert. Again 'da' proof that
the Liberals plan for Quebec is merely to give it money.
"Regarding the ban in particular, it
would be unlikely that the province of Saskatchewan would feel the need to
participate, therefore Saskatchewan gun owners should not be affected . .
. ."
Letter from Finance
Ministers, Ralph Goodale's Office on why the proposed handgun shouldn't be
a worry to his constituents. Note: The plan is optional and provinces
can override this. Thus making a possible law, ineffective. Again this
is a simple way Liberals lie to get your vote.
"We are proving to be unrealistic in
granting an increasing portion of the education budget to the education of
minority groups, . . . They
make short-term gains, but we are headed toward bankruptcy in the long
term. These gains are illusory because all we are doing is redirecting
resources away from sectors that create the necessary wealth that assures
our financial future."
Liberal "star" candidate,
Marc Garneau commenting on Quebec's education system in 1986. Hmm, who is
the sympathetic party of political correctness?
"To the reticent nations, including the United States, I
say there is such a thing as a global conscience, and now is the time to
listen to it."
The hypocritical PM, Paul
Martin to delegates at the Montreal conference on climate change. He
charged the US does not have a 'global conscience' because it refused to
sign on to Kyoto.
"The United States is,
in fact, reducing emissions and spending more money on tackling climate
change than any other country in the world, having spent over 20 billion
dollars in the last five years, . . .
I would
respectfully submit to you that when it comes to a 'global conscience,'
the United States is walking the walk,"
US
Ambassador to Canada, David Wilkins in response to Martin. He mentioned
that since 1990, the US output of greenhouse gases has grown by only 13%
while Canada, who signed and committed to cutting greenhouses to 6% LOWER
than 1990 levels have increased by 24%. This once again shows how
two-faced the Liberals are. The US decided to reduce greenhouse gases and
clean up the environment by investing in technology. They have a plan and
its working. In Canada, the Liberals hastily ratified Kyoto, without
significant consultation with the provinces, which they promised and
WITHOUT a plan to reach the goals.
“When I was a boy, I
remember a lot of fights in the schoolyard. I was in very few of them, but
I always remember the kid always name-calling from a safe distance. There
wasn't really much risk of a fight. And Mr. Martin reminds me of that kid.
He couldn’t throw a punch to save his life.”
Harper on
Martin’s criticism of the American record on global warming.

AdScam
If you don't know what
this is all about, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING? Basically it was proven the
Chrétien government funneled sponsorship money in Quebec to Liberal
friendly ad agencies, which then overcharged the government for work,
allowed Liberal workers to be put on the payroll, funneled a percentage
back to the Liberal party, etc. I could spend days on this issue but it is
just disgusting. The Liberals sense of entitlement to our money at its
finest. In an effort to show that it is 'truly sorry' (for being caught)
the Liberals paid back some of the money they got. Stephen Harper
responded by saying, "Plea bargaining with itself. Those must have been
tough negotiations."

Liberal Entitlement
Blatant patronage positions have giving many
Liberals a culture of entitlement. Look at David Dingwall who charged us
$1.29 for gum and $1.09 for a paper. Then when he was caught charging the
taxpayers for these plus 'home internet' at a $200k+ per year job, he
quit. THEN he had the BALLS to say he should get a severance package
saying, "I think I'm ethically entitled to the entitlements
which I believe are owing to me." -
David Dingwall, who resigned
as head of the Canadian Mint after a fuss over his expenses, on whether he
should get a severance package.."
Gun Registry
Was originally to
cost Canadian tax payers just $2million, its now closing in on
$2BILLION. That's a 1000% increase. Where did they go wrong? This gun law
was another typical 'knee jerk' reaction to an incident for which the
Liberals are famous for. Liberals said it would take guns out of the hands
of dangerous people and make our streets safer. Unfortunately, the
$2Billion spent so far have save no lives, done what the old systems was
to do and caused headaches for thousands of rifle owning hunters across
Canada. Former Liberal Justice Minister, Alan Rock said, 'No one should
have guns except the military and police.' Think of what the billion
dollars would do! Hundreds of new police on the streets, more judges, and
more social programs to help troubled youth.

what else the money would get.
HRDC Boondoggle
The Libs where to spend
close to $1Billion for 'job creation' programs. Unfortunately, no one knew
where the money went.
Bashing the Americans
Quotes from Liberals:
"I hate those bastards!"
Liberal MP Carolyn Parrish referring to Americans
"What a moron" Referring to President
Bush, Chrétien Communications Director
Francoise Ducros
"He's been undiplomatic."
Liberal Minister Herb Dhaliwal
"For me our biggest
threat is the U.S. not the people of Iraq." Liberal Backbencher Alex
Sheperd
"We hope for a Gore win" paraphrased a
Chrétien comment during the 1998 US Elections. This directly points to a
favoritism, contrary to what PM Martin said, that, 'Foreign governments
should not interfere with elections'.
Many times the Liberal government has told
the US government what they think they should do but when an American
representative shows their disappointment over an issue, the Liberals say
they should "stay out" of their business. Talk about a HYPOCRITE!
Scrap the GST
Remember this? Sheila
Copps said she'd quit if it wasn't scrapped. When the Liberals realized
they were swimming in this cash cow, they decided not to get rid of it.
Copps quit, for a bit, then ran again in a subsequent by-election and won.
Now the Tories vow to reduce it to 5% while the Liberals say cutting the
GST would be dumb. Hmm, who cares about consumers?
National Day Care
The Liberals promised
this. . . IN 1993! It's only 12 years later and they're finally getting to
it. A death bed conversion.
Free Trade
The 1988 Election was
fought over this issue. The Libs against and the Tories for. Tories won a
smaller majority. Five years later, the Libs formally passed NAFTA (with
the framework done by the PCs). Again
they realized that Free Trade wasn't the demon they said it was, in fact
it was a great thing for Canada.
Tax Cuts
During the 2004 election,
the Tories touted corporate and personal income tax cuts. The Liberals
said the proposed tax cuts wouldn't work and would bankrupt Canada. Well
now Canada is swimming in billions of surpluses and the Libs have decided
those tax cuts proposed by the Tories are a good idea, especially when it
will get them some votes of the gullible.
Sea Kings Fiasco
The Mulroney government
proposed and contracted to replace the aging Sea Kings back in the early
'90's. The Liberals vowed to stop it, even though contracts were signed
and construction had started, costing tax payers nearly $500Million in
cancellation fees. The Liberals vowed to replace them but 12 years, a
number of crashes and deaths later, nothing has been done. In 2003 All
remaining Sea Kings where grounded. They plan to replace them with now
more expensive, less effective helicopters. It was now taking 40 hours of
repair work for every 1 hour of flight time. The RCAF wished to have
the Sea Kings replaced with the original choppers the Tories proposed, but
in a blatant political move the Libs couldn't admit they were wrong.
