Name: Ito Lazlo
Ito Lazlo was born to a father who worked as a car mechanic and a mother who held short-term secretary jobs. Laz was very into music, especially Jrock/visual kei. He worked part time at his dad's auto shop and used some of his money to buy a bass secondhand. He practiced with his friends and bought lessons when he could afford them. He was a decent student through school - he loved math and while he was quiet and had only a couple close friends, he graduated but showed no interest in pursuing any kind of professional career. Instead he packed up his belongings and traveled, looking to join a band or for any kind of job in the VK scene. He was working at a venue as a bartender when he first met Luciel, founding member of Deathscream. Things progressed and Laz joined Deathscream, along with Ryonai and Nihane. The band was immediately popular, and their fame soared. Events took a tragic turn when during a break, Lazlo went backstage to have a smoke. A crazed fan took him by surprise and strangled him with a rope, leaving him to die. He was discovered by a fellow band member coming out to get him. By this time Laz was known to be extremely promiscuous with both men and women, and after his recovery while feeding his depression at a strip club, he met Tiriel. Tiriel Jamison was born in Los Angeles to a lawyer mother and a father who worked nights as a security officer for a hotel complex. Tiriel was problematic as a young child, fighting and being teased at school. By the time he was in middle school his family had moved to a small town in the Midwest and he was very withdrawn and quiet, a student who was obviously bright but excelled in nothing but the arts. When he took ballet in high school, he was even further cast out of social circles and caused quite a scandal among the school PTA, who had a special meeting just to consider the enrollment of boys in predominantly female classes. Tiriel graduated two years early using summer classes and was accepted into the Ohio University School of Dance. He left after only two years, growing restless in the Midwest and wanting to travel. He went to Tokyo immediately and sustained himself and a newfound drug habit by stripping or getting backup gigs whenever he could. It was at this point that he met Lazlo. Lazlo was immediately smitten with Tiriel, entranced by the usual lust that he felt for an attractive person, especially male, but there was something else about Tiriel, something that Lazlo did not recognize or even try to identify. Tiriel enjoyed the acceptance and love he got from Lazlo (though Laz had no idea he loved Tiriel at the time.) One night Laz and Tiriel had a blowout fight about Tiriel's addiction, and Tiriel stormed off. He bought his drug of choice, heroin and took a massive overdose, leaving him confused, scared, hallucinating and unable to find his way home. When Tiriel did not return for many days, Laz began searching the night clubs for him. At this point he found Nanashi. Nanashi himself had been a member of a band when he was younger, however he was trapped in an unfortunate circumstance and was sold into an underground slavery ring. Lazlo frequented a bar where these slaves were commonly brought, and when he saw a man mistreating Nanashi, he acted without thinking and bought the slave. Not knowing what to do with this dependent, unstable new factor in his life, Laz lashed out again and again against Nanashi until he finally realized that he had destroyed the love of all those close to him. Nanashi was eventually found by the ring who had leased him, and drug him screaming away from Laz. Lazlo searched for Nanashi for weeks before giving up and fleeing Japan in his pain, thinking that both Tiriel and Nanashi had died. He disappeared overnight, leaving the band and all his friends and moved to America where he hoped he would find solace. He retreated inside himself, not daring to go out or take any outside interests. For more than a year he closed himself off, until one evening in May- Our story picks up here... |
