October 12, 2002 DDR to the Extreme Well folks, DDR just keeps getting more and more awesome. According to DDRManiaX, the new DDR Extreme is near completed as far as devolpment goes and will go into public testing next week. This is very awesome since it will be arriving in arcades sooner than people expected. More incredible than that though is the new Extreme will have 230+ songs... uhhhh!!! That's so beast! The newest version (DDRMAX2) only has about 115 songs, which is still a huge amount! 230 is just going to be insane. On another note, Nickadeamus, Juice and I went up to Illusionz to rock out some DDR. It's pretty damn sweet. They have a huge line-up of Bemani games, which is really awesome. Currently, they have 5 DDR machines to play on: Disney's Rave, USA, 4th Solo, and 2 DDRMAX2 machines. So, needless to say, we had fun. One of the craziest things I saw was this little kid who could beat MaxX Unlimited on Heavy. He could twiddle those little feet like there was no tomorrow. The only stupid part was that he had to hold on to the bar to do it, which I think is really dumb, but I mean he was only about 12 years old or something, so it was still impressive. Of course, when his big brothers were playing MAX300 and grabbing the bar and failing, it started to get really pathetic and Gan-erific. So I busted moves on Kakumei like 100 times because that song rules so much, and I played almost all the songs that are new to the mix. I also played some Afronova on double maniac which was damn sweet and some Ever Snow on double too. I was playing with this really cool guy when all of a sudden this rotten trash comes up and acts all badass and wants to play with me. So I agree, and the whole time we were playing he tried to pick songs that were really hard because he wanted me to fail - murder time. I busted the moves and murdered his trash. I can't stand dirty Gans like that. When I go to play DDR, I try to find cool people to play with for fun, because that's why I play DDR... it's fun. Nothing pisses me off more when a dirt comes up and tries to act all badass and show off their ugly-ass routine of stomping as fast as they can to try and show me up. That's when I kick it into overdrive and murder them. That's usually the best way to deal with them, aside from Gan-Hunting them down with my group of Gan Hunters. Aside from that piece, the rest of the night was awesome. On the way home from the arcade we had a truly Warshington experience when we saw people driving backwards on the expressway, because I guess in Warshington you just can't wait for traffic, you have to turn around on the expressway, drive over medians and merge onto offramps that you already passed. Some really old piece almost hit us because he turned his minivan around and tried to force his way in front of us on our offramp. Yea right, we're gonna let you in you insane elderly driver. So he proceeds to honk his horn and flail his arms in the air, just like every other Warshington driving encounter we've had on the roads. So we all just waved at him while he sat in the median of the offramp perpendicular to us. So yea, it was a sweet night. |

October 8, 2002 Damn you Warshington, Damn you! Don't ever live in Warshington... EVER. It just sucks that bad. You will never have fun and there will be Gans everywhere. There are so many Gans that it makes me literally insane. All remnants of sanity have been lost. Why does Warshington have to be this way? Why can't it be normal? It sounds normal enough when you hear about it, but when you actually see it, the tables are turned. In any event, today was what I would call a Warshington day if I ever had one. Oh wait, that's every day here. Every day is the new worst day of my life. So, yes, that would mean today was the worst day of my life. Show me your moves. |

October 7, 2002 DDRMAX is to the MAAAXXXX! Ok ladies and gentlemen, the songlist for DDRMAX for the PS2 has been released, and man does it kick ass. Here's the full list as posted by DDRManiaX: New Licensed Songs (5) Darude - Sandstorm New Konami Original Remixes (4)
New Songs From Beatmania (8) DJ Nagureo - Keep On Lifting (Beatmania
III) Songs from previous DDR games (57) 22Dunk This is not an official list, but it is what is to believed to be the full list. If this is true, I'm going to cry because these songs kick so much ass, and I don't think I've ever been so happy. I mean, these songs just kick so much ass, and some of them are from MAX2. This is the best day of my life. |

October 6, 2002 Factoria, Round 2 Went up to Factoria again on Saturday with Jabby and J-Dog, it was fun stuff. We played most of the songs on MAX2 and all had a good time. We went to Buger King for dinner though, and I think a Gan must have prepared our food because whatever I ate made me all sick last night. Leave it to Warshington to ruin a perfectly good DDR night. I tell you, there's just too many Gans nowadays. Oh well, I'll just have to join up with my fellow Gan Hunters and get down to business, but for right now, I have other business to attend to - namely physics. Stay cool. |

October 3, 2002 Factoria Rules So I went up to Factoria tonight with Juice; man did it kick ass. We played DDRMAX2 for about 3 rounds; it was awesome. First we played some Ever Snow, which is one of the most kickass songs ever. After that we played some Ordinary World by Aurora... awesome. If you haven't played that one yet, you need to because it kicks ass. If you can't make it to the arcade, don't worry it's gonna be on DDRMAX for the PS2, and I know all my avid readers will definitely be buying that game (except Eric because he has 6th mix already, lucky bastard, hehe). After that we played some Blondie Girl, another awesome song and some Exotic Ethnic which kicked ass but has some crazy steps to it. I'm sure I'll have it listed in my mad dancing skills section whenever I get it up. Then we played Candy like twice because it kicks ass and we played It's Raining Men. That'd be really scary if it actually did rain men, although in Warshington anything's possible. After that we played some Nori Nori Nori and MAX300 of course. Unfortunately, the machine at Factoria doesn't have MaxX Unlimited or Kakumei unlocked yet, but it's still cool because MAX2 has so many songs anyways. We played some Cowgirl and Paranoia KCET, which I got a 354 combo on, but that's weak-sauce. Now I'm sitting here making my new site banner. It's gonna kick ass. In fact, it's gonna be the best damn banner ever made. Yes, yes it will be. |

Also, don't forget to check out Orosaki.com if you haven't already. It shows the uncensored truth about Gans, plus I'm one of the cast members in the comic, so be sure to check it out! You most likely found my site by going there anyway, but check it out nonetheless. If you want the best information on DDR ever, make sure you bookmark this site because there's going to be plenty of move-busting and brow-cocking. |
