My schooling took place in El Paso, Texas during the year of 1987-1988, at Aladdin Beauty College. I graduated with top scores and took my first job before I even had my license (shhh!). There I was employed and pursued my career as a very fruitful Nail Technician.
Within a few years I had become pregnant with twins with two toddlers already at home. Needless to say, that put a temporary slow-down on working. I continued to practice on myself and many other people. Being the wife of an enlisted army man I had lots of hours of practice.
A few more years went by and a divorce came and went so I found myself looking for work again, only this time I had enough hours behind me to do hair as well. This was the beginning of my years of being self employed, so I persued more education as a Master Nail Technician, which was were my heart was. Today I'm still doing hair and nails in Washington state. |
