Over the past 20 years I've come across many techniques and styles for making nail designs. On my nail pages there are some examples dating all the way back to 1987 and some very current ones.
I have since picked up airbrush, free hand and just some silly applications, like marbleizing, stones, decals, moving parts and have on occassion had the pleasure to offer nail jewlery for all tastes.
Please remember that elaborate designing requires "long" nails. I've had many occassions where it's been requested of me to paint freehand on very tiny nails and it just doesn't work. Although many designs can be "adapted" or "modified" to fit any size nail, but imagination is a must!
It's pretty easy to simplify even some of the most elaborate designs. Most of the pictures you are going to see here are not simple . I do have pictures of full sets of designs that can be simple... so don't be afraid to try something out.
