Roles
  These are the roles that members participating in NITRO will need to specialize in.  As well as job descriptions of each of them.
Relation to School
NITRO Meetings
Ideas: Looks at existing designs on the internet and drafts prototype ideas

Researchers: Researches information about robots and competitions.

Engineers: Creates the final blueprints and kinematic calculations.

Electricians: Calculates power requirements, designs circuits and solders them.  Designs and makes the controllers for tethered robots.

Mechanics: Builds the robots.  Knowledges of workshop techniques is preferable.  Needs to understand how the scroll-saw and shape wood, work with a nail and hammer, operate a drill-press and electric sander.  Also needs to know how to shape acrylic and vacuum-form.

Metalwork expert: Specializes in learning metalwork techniques, such as how to cut, file and grind metal.  Welding experience is preferable, but not necessary.  We will not be teaching welding techniques.

Parts Experts: Organizes parts lists, and needs to understand how they work.  Knowledge of Thai is preferable, becausethey will be rsponsible for coordinating the buying of the parts.

Weapons Experts: Designs weapons for different robots and the physics calculations involved.

Graphic Designers: Makes sure the robot looks good and is attractive.

Logistics:
Helps with organization of meetings and to keep everyone on track.

Organizer: Organizes meetings, trips and corresponds with the administration.
