His mom was a cocktail-barmaid, his dad was car mechanic.
Quickly after his birth he and his family moved to Aberdeen..
When he was a child he was always very happy!
But on his 7 years his parents divorced. From that moment Kurt never felt love again. Then the problems came. Kurt became a difficult, anti-social boy.
On his 11 years he discovered music like 'Sex Pistols', and together with his friend Krist Novoselic, many other british punk-bands.
In high-school he didn't have many friends! He smoked weed and stuff, in his diary you can read that he tryed once to commit suicide...
In 1985 Kurt Cobain moved to Olympia. There he played in many bands, created many bands, ...
But the final band was Nirvana!
In 1988 Nirvana had a lot of concerts and in 1989 they had their first album 'Bleach'. In 1991 they got a bigger contract from 'Geffen'. (the david geffen company)
2,5 years later, after their first cd they introduced 'Nevermind'!
A cd with lots of good, hard, screaming songs! And of course
with the first song on the cd : 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' as a result of which they became very popular! The album 'Nevermind' gave a profit of 550 million DOLLARS which maked Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl very rich! Kurt Cobain was very shokked by all the interest and said that no one of the band ever expected that! The pressure was getting to high and Kurt begin to use heroine.
In spite of the fact that he used heroine he didn't stopped to keep writing magnificent songs and he stayed a 'good' boy. One time he said to his fans : "If any of you don't like gays or women or blacks, please leave us the fuck alone."
He was afraid that he would attrack the wrong kind of fans. In February 1992 Kurt married in Hawaï with Courtney Love (that bitch) . In the same year, august, Kurt Cobain was hospitalized to get rid off heroine addiction short after the birth of 'Frances Bean Cobain'.
In 1993 'In Utero' got released.
In 1993 Nirvana did something for MTV(unplugged), after the 'recording' MTV said that the band was going to split.
On march 4 Kurt got hospitalized again, he was in a coma. It was a failed suicide. He took 50 painkillers with champagne. But it was official recognized as an accident. A fews days later he was home again.
At April 5, about a month after his failed suicide he went to the small room above his garage. He had a shotgun with him and ended it all.
His body was found by electricians who wanted to install a secuirity-system in the house, because nobody opened the door they begon to look true the windows..When the police arrived they found the body of Kurt Cobain with the shotgun in his hand and a farewell-letter for Courntney Love and Frances Cobain. It ended with the words : 'I love you, I love you'
On the funeral their were over 5000 people!
His dougther was 19 months.
