If you rearrange, substitue, and subtract some letters from "GameCube" it actually SPELLS "God." Dwell on THAT for a while.

Miyamoto the Great speaks on Nintendo's future           -cloud
Like it or not... Believe it or not... WE GOT A NEW PAGE! Hurray! Though it's still pretty empty, I'll be updating it from now on with little tidbits on (drumroll ) Nintendo's History! Yay! As of now there is one article featuring the more recent history about the Rare/Nintendo Break up. It's still so sad. :( Anyway, you should mozey on over and check it out sometime, it's kinda kewl!
A recent interview with legendary game designer Shigeu Miyamoto (creater of Mario, Zelda, and so many more ) has revealed a bit of news on Nintendo's future plans. He revealed that Nintendo has finally decided to go online and plans to release lots of new online games in the near future. He also said that him and his team are putting the finishing touches on the new Zelda game and hopes to have it out by the holidays in Japan. He also said that the GBA zelda game is also coming along well and they will indeed feature the GCN/GBA link up capabilities. Miyamoto also revealed some exciting other exciting news! They are already making plans for a new Zelda game and a new Mario game to be released for the Nintendo Gamecube! How cool is that! They are also busy developing a new Donkey Kong game. Details are unknown except for the fact that Rare will definatly not be making it. Many people complain that Nintendo is too focused on sequals and they need to release more new games with new Nintendo characters. Not to agree with the opposition or anything, but I personally do think that it would be nice to see some new franchises released. And as if an answer to my video game releated prayers, Miyamoto announced that Nintendo has plans to launch all new franchises in the 2003 year. Sweet. On another note, though the loss of Rare is definatly a sad thing, it give Nintendo much more money to spend on making new games and hiring new 2nd party developers. The future looks like it's gonna Shine for Nintendo!
Harvest Moon Impressions and Screenshots                                      -cloud
You are lookin at the first official screenshots of the new Harvest Moon game for the Nintendo Gamecube. If you havent played the N64 version (you really missed out) the game is essentially a relaxing game where you run a farm and grow crops and get married and have a kid and go fishing and ride a horse or whatever! It was a classic game and loads of fun. Well, the sequal is on it's way and it is a total upgrade in every possible way. The graphics are very nice, you have tons more plants to grow (you can even make hybrid plants), more animals, and most importantly, more girls! This game will most likley rock! So stay tuned for more info as it comes.
007 Nightfire Impressions                                                                  -cloud
The new bond game will soon be released for all three consoles. So will it be just another boring FPS title, or a revolutionary game like goldeneye? Well, it's hard to say. From what I've seen so far, this game really shines in it's visuals department. If you surf the net for some screens you will see that it doesnt dissapoint. With experienced developers behind the wheel, you can expect some above average gameplay and even some driving levels. While this game probably won't be as revolutionary as goldeneye, it will definatly be better then the mediocre game Agent Under Fire. So if you have a urning to become a secret agent man and or just to shoot up a bunch of innocent civilians like a certain girl I know (Brittany Johnson) then this game may be for just be the one for you.
