Who can I bring with me to the class?

Most prenatal education classes are attended by the pregnant women and her partner.
Friends, family members or other support persons are also welcome.

Why should I attend prenatal classes?

Prenatal education offers women and their families to be confident in their transition to care
for a new family member. The prenatal educator works in partnership with families
to promote health and well-being through a teaching and learning process.
In essence, the health of our future generations is influenced by prenatal education.

What about the cost?

Prenatal education is fundamental to the prenatal care of the mother and the unborn child.
Further, it is an essential part of pregnancy that should be available and accessible for all
women and families. Women may not attend prenatal classes due to the high costs.
Fortunately, the fee of prenatal classes may be waived or subsidized if needed.
Please consult with registration when you apply for classes.
