Born in Cuba the son of a rich plantation owner's wife and a Spanish solider, he was put to work in the sugar cane fields at the age of ten as punishment for his
mother’s infidelity. While this would have killed any
other boy his age Xavier survived. Due to the fact
that he was Spanish and not black he also learned to
defend himself at an early age. When Xavier was 15 the
Cuban War for Independence (Spanish American war) was
beginning. Xavier joined the rebels and learned many
forms of combat. By the end of the war 3 years later
Xavier, with his undeniable strength, ambition, and
intelligence, was in command of 200 men and wanted more
battle.
One night, mere days after the end of the war, Xavier went to a local bar with some of the soldiers and spoke to them of how they should now take the war to Spain. They just laughed but a man in the shadows understood his call for war. On Xavier’s way home this man came up to him drawing his sword challenging him to a fight. Xavier fought valiantly, but was no match for this man. The man was about to give his death blow when he stopped “Xavier, I am Alexander Therion and I want you to leave with me. I can give you battle for eternity.” For some reason Xavier accepted. He went on to fight alongside and travel with Alexander for 7
years when at the age of 25 he was turned by
Alexander. Since then Xavier has roamed all lands
looking for challenges and helping his clan when
needed. Recently he was operating a gun smuggling
operation in Florida aimed at freeing the Cuban
people, but his clan has called him to New York, and
he has waited over a hundred years to see Cuba free - he
can wait a couple more.
