Shareware Characters:

Shareware characters are written by the players of our game to fulfil a purpose within their threads or to flush out the players in certain settings. They could be servants, friends, anything really. They are important characters, but not so that they need playing.

Everyone can play with a shareware character if they chose - regardless of whether they wrote them or now - just as long as you adhere to the profile and the kind of person they are. Another bonus of writing an actual profile for a character you sometimes used in your posts is that profiled Characters can't be killed, so so you keep them from being knocked off at any inopportune moment.
