She is now the only creature in History to possess almost all of the teachings of Caine and of the First Vampires, dating back to Adam and Eve.  It is said she even knows of the Gehenna (the final war) and the date of Caines rising.  Because of the unnamable knowledge Lathos has gathered from the ancient books, scrolls, and stone tablets, she is a formidable foe and ally, as she hoards the powers of the Old World.

Because of her innocent and childlike features, coupled with a sincere heart and warm spot for her kind, one would think that the years have sobered and mellowed Lathos.  One would never think of such a gentle creature in a bad light, and they surely would not think that she would use her power to hurt her own beloved kind.  They would be wrong.

Lathos deserves the fear Kindred feel for her.

She is a bloodthirsty killer, very connected to the Beast dwelling inside her body.  Lathos has been playing games with mortals for centuries, and she is a master at manipulation.  One does not achieve such power and knowledge as she possesses by being innocent or gentle, and one will not come away from reading and absorbing the ancient histories uncorrupted.

But, mortals aren't her only victims.  She's known to do even worse to her own kind.  A good heart she may have, but coupled with her bloodlust, and her skill, she is anything but 'good'.

Lathos has gained and learned her power from the knowledge of the books she's collected, unlike many today (simply because she held all of the books). Many a neonates, as well as elders and a number of ancients have had their lives made very… miserable after underestimating Lathos.  She has been the influence of events around the world for centuries.

Because Lillith is said to be the 'Mother of Darkness', one of those directly connected to Caine, Lathos respects her, and loves her.  She acts as an advisor, friend, and it is rumored, as a lover, to Lillith.

Because Lathos' bloodline is potent, as well as extremely strong, Lathos only makes one new Childe each year.  Unlike the new, evolved Kindred of the modern world who are able to create dozens of childer in a week, creating just one child weakens Lathos considerably.  In the past, a number of her children have gone mad from the power, eventually killing them selves.  Lathos considers her Progeny very carefully, wanting to insure that her continued bloodline will not turn into maniacs, before embracing them.

According to tradition, Lathos keeps feeding slaves, and despite the title they are all lovely to look at, and free.  Some are humans, some are Kindred, and a werewolf or two grace the marble floors of her home as well.  The humans that work abroad for her are educated in the black arts, sent to the far reaches of the earth to gather any and all texts or artifacts pertaining to her clans History.All of her slaves, demonic or human, are highly conditioned to respond to the Kiss, which makes them all the more desired by the Hemithanes and the Therion men.

Her home, and the surrounding area for miles, is where she makes her personal hunting grounds, and no one has dared to trespass as they are patrolled and protected by the bloodthirsty werewolves loyal to Lathos.  Instead of venturing out to feed, Lathos keeps to tradition, having Blood Feasts, as any true childe of Caine would, holding court and performing age old rites in the name of their creator, Caine.  Sometimes, she even invites a select few 'guests'.

Most nights Lathos is secluded in her home, examining ancient texts that speak of Kindred History.  Others times she can be found at any of the clubs and social gatherings the Kindred or Kine are having.As of yet, she has not aligned herself to any one Clan, preferring favorites within each Clan as Lillith does.  This may all change as the tide has brought with it new clans for Lathos to observe and enjoy.
