Hadrian MacTavish

Youngest brother of MacTavish family, Hadrian is the brooding dreamer of the family.  He has a tendency to place people he loves on a pedestal and pout when they fall off of it.  He adores his family, and has a tendency to worship his sisters as sacred - which means a tendency for fall-outs with Arnand due to what he sees as Medea's sacrifice on raising Alice on her own.

A silent killer of killers, Hadrian is greatly feared among the Kindred of New York for both his lethal skill at the Hunt and his persistence.  God help the Kindred who crosses his path, for he is just as single-minded of purpose at the Kill as he is on his family.  Unlike the rest of the MacTavish Clan, Hadrian has something personal beyond duty behind his calling - the first woman he ever loved was killed in a bloodbath at the Whip, at November Hemithane's hands.  Her name, Brenna, is branded on his shoulder, a permanent reminder of his fight.

Hadrian views the newcomers to the city with interest - Kindred and Forty alike.  He knows of Colum O'Shea by Arnand's frequent references to the man, and of Leigh Deveraux's history due to the extensive library of works Arnand houses.  He has reserved judgement on the new Clans, preferring to learn of their weaknesses and strengths before diving in for the kill.  However, he is relentless in his obsession with November Hemithanes and her Clan.

Tall, even for a MacTavish, he scrapes the doorways at 6 feet 5 inches. In accordance with his propensity to fight, Hadrian is usually dressed in scuffed jeans and casual shirts.  Only Siren is ever able to get him to dress up, and that only for special occasions.
