She was saved by her brother and turned into a vampire.  She awoke alone and in darkness, which terrified her.  Both her brother, Niculaie, and his sire tried to soothe her fears and guide her through what she was becoming.  Aloysha would have none of it.  She fled the camp of males, cursing her brother for turning her into an inhuman beast.  She had no desire to become Kindred.

Aloysha believed herself dammed for the crimes she has been forced to commit because of the bloodlust within her.In the early 17th century, believing God had turned His back on her because he had not answered her prayers for salvation from the horrible curse forced upon her, Aloysha went slightly mad and killed many before the week was over.  She gorged on blood, all of her victims becoming her meals. After the week was up, Aloysha came to her sense and was surprised and shocked that she felt no guilt over the act.  That terrified her, that she could kill and kill and feel *nothing*.

Ever since then Aloysha has refused to feed on human blood.  She joined the Forty years later.  That week of blood still as fresh in her memory as it was the day she performed the act, Aloysha sought forgiveness even though she knew it would not be granted.  She had been taught long ago that God did not look favorably on demons who regularly feasted on his precious flock. Still, Aloysha fights alongside The Forty, hoping to prevent another disaster such as the week she committed her heinous crime of blood and 
gorging.

She's met her brother in battle twice since the night she Became, and on each occasion they have come away with scars.  Aloysha adores her brother, not the demon, but the man he used to be.  She knows that one day she will have to fight him to a battle with only one outcome; either of them dead - and has prepared herself for centuries for such a battle.  She only hopes that when the time comes, she will be able to cut him down.

As deadly as she is desirable, Aloysha uses all of her charms when hunting and killing.  Able to best most warriors in combat, Aloysha has earned a reputation as well as a small amount of respect amongst the warriors of the Kindred community.  Her allegiance is to The Forty, always and forever, for she made a blood vow to them long ago.
