Damian awoke the next morning, donned his robes, and addressed his congregation with wide open arms and an accepting smile. In silence, as his flock looked on, he moved about the wooden church house and locked the doors with chains, closed the shutters and locked them tight, leaving only the back entrance open. He began his sermon as he splattered gasoline amid the nervous, but enraptured audience, speaking of sin, and hell, his deafening fire-and-brimstone voice captivating his followers. He spoke of a cleansing just before he set the church afire. The screams did not start immediately, but as Damian walked away from the church, having used the back entrance and then securing it, he sent up a smile and a prayer for the screaming men and women locked inside the burning building.

Secluding himself in the cellar of his home, he sought to exercise his demons by locking himself up in chains, suffering for days upon end, praying and repenting his thoughts and deeds. In the end, Damian's fractured mind had him pledging his life to Lucifer. He emerged, scars criss-crossing his broken wrists and ankles, and walked out of town. Damian re-appeared many times throughout Kindred and Human history, waging a personal war that was at times religious, and other times, done on a whim. He fought vampires, demons, and human's alike. His reasoning for such was unknown, and is still questioned in the 21st century.

It is unknown when exactly that he was killed, or if he was killed at all, but he is Immortal. He has to be, he has been around for nearly 2,000 years. He is feared, by both the Kindred and the Forty. But it has become apparent that his "tastes" have changed with the dawning of the new century. He has chosen a prey, it seems, and they are the Forty. Kindred are still wary, though. Damian has been known to change prey's without thought. He does not have an Immortal buzz, and if he does, then he has learned to mask it. No one is sure, just as they are not sure who created this creature.
